مُلا نصرالدین کا شماراُردو ادب کے مقبول ترین کرداروں میں ہوتا ہے ۔ اُن کے قصوں میں طنزو مزاح ہی نہیں دانش و حکمت بھی دکھائی دیتی ہے۔ کچھ عرصہ سے دیکھا گیا ہے کہ ہمارے ان خوب صورت کرداروں کی جگہ مغربی تخلیقات نے لے لی ہے ۔ اب بچے ہیری پورٹر، سپائیڈرمین اور ڈورے مون سے تو واقف ہیں لیکن مُلا نصر الدین، حاتم طائی،الف لیلی اورشیخ چلی کو بھول گئے ہیں ۔ جن میں اخلاقی سبق کو خاص اہمیت دی جاتی تھی۔
مُلا نصرالدین اورایسے ہی کلاسک کرداروں پرکتب شائع کرنے کا مقصد بچوں کی ملاقات اپنے کھوئے ہوئے کرداروں سے کروانا ہے ۔
والدین اور اساتذہ کوبھی چاہیے کہ بچوں کو اِن ادبی کرداروں سے ضرور روشناس کروائیں تاکہ اپنی قومی زبان سے محبت پیدا ہواورمطالعہ کا رحجان بڑھے۔
Mullah Nasruddin is one of the most popular characters in Urdu literature. His stories show not only humor but also wisdom. It has been observed for some time that these beautiful characters of ours have been replaced by Western creations. Now the children are familiar with Harry Potter, Spiderman, and Doraemon, but they have forgotten Mullah Nasruddin, Hatim Tai, Alif Laila, and Sheikh Chili. In which moral lessons were given special importance.
The purpose of publishing books on Mullah Nasruddin and similar classic characters is to introduce children to their lost characters.
Parents and teachers should also introduce these literary characters to their children so that their love for their national language is created and the tendency to study increases.
